New Adult Romance New Releases Facebook Event

new adult romances new releases eventReady for a Facebook party? Come join me and a bunch of other new adult authors over on Facebook for our New Adult Romance New Releases Facebook Event! The entire event lasts for two days, from tomorrow, Monday, June 23 – Tuesday, June 24. It’ll run from 12 pm – 6 pm EDT each day with a new author every hour on the hour.

Each author will have different prizes and things for all of our guests. You certainly don’t have to be there for two days; even if you just want to stop by for 15 min or so, that’s great! I’m going to be talking about the Covert Series as well as my new series, Smart is the New Sexy Series. My first book, Goodness of Fit, is due out in less than two weeks: EEK.

I’ll be there tomorrow, Monday, from 1 – 2 pm EDT. Come check us out here!

Edited to Add: Unfortunately, due to a Facebook technicality about how author pages can interact with other pages, I won’t be able to attend the party, and I’m seriously bummed about it :(. I urge you to check out the event anyway: there are a lot of great authors for you to meet. You can never have too many authors to read, right?

Take some time to stop by!

First Date

It seemed so simple. Start a blog. Start writing. It’s about as simple as a first date.  So, I’ll treat this like I do a first date. Better to keep it simple and sweet, right?

I’ve always loved reading and writing. Getting lost in a story is My Thing. Now can you make a living doing that? I feared not, so I did the “responsible” thing, studied something “practical,” and became a professional.

Turns out it’s not that easy. I have these stories, ideas, and, yes, sometimes actual voices in my head that will NOT shut up. Yes, I know there are medications for these types of problems, but I’m going to try something else first: writing these stories down and giving these characters voices. With the emergence of the New Adult category, a time of life that I think is one of the most exciting, the timing is perfect.

Hopefully we can get together again. I’d say “call me,” but, well, you don’t have my number. So drop back by. (Yes, I can be coy like that.)
